Coaching Experience: I have been coaching club soccer for 10 years at various age levels. I have been coaching high school varsity soccer for 18 years with 1 CIF Championship. I have also been coaching college soccer for the past 13 years, where I am currently the head coach for the women’s team at Mt. San Jacinto College. Finally I spent two seasons with the Pali Blues of the W-League as an assistant coach in charge of Goalkeepers. I’ve spent time at two clubs as the Director of Goalkeeping and have been training players since 2001.

Playing Experience: I played one season at Riverside Community College as a starting defender and captain. I also played two seasons at California Baptist University as a starting goalkeeper and captain.

Bio: I am married to my wonderful wife and we have one daughter. I have been teaching middle school special education for 8 years. I am also the Middle School Athletic Director in my district. My philosophy is different than most. While it’s cliché to say development nowadays, because every coach and club says it, I believe players learn best by being free to make mistakes. So my philisophy is simple. I will provide the tool for players to be independent thinkers and good decision making. I will put the learning in their hands and give them the confidence to build upon what they’ve already learned.
